Featured College - The University of New Hampshire at Manchester

The University of New Hampshire at Manchester was established in 1985 as the sixth college of the University of New Hampshire. The University Center, located in Manchester's historic millyard, is a fitting setting for the University's urban commuter college. The 75,000 square foot facility is home to 1,600 students. This central location, day, evening and Saturday class schedules make it possible for students to earn their degree or to take professional development or continuing education classes while fulfilling other commitments.

Manchester is the largest city in New Hampshire and students at UNH Manchester find an educational resource in the city itself, with its concerts, festivals, theater productions and art and historical exhibitions and a wide variety of internship opportunities.

UNH Manchester professors are recognized scholars and are known nationally and internationally. Most importantly, UNH Manchester's dedicated faculty members are outstanding teachers who care about each individual student. The student population is composed of a unique mix of traditional college-age students (18-23 years old) and older adults and reflects the region's diverse ethnicity. UNH Manchester's small class size encourages interaction between faculty and students and offers the opportunity for personal attention.
